Position: Video & Content Creator
Employment Type: Contract (Remote)

Role Summary

The Video & Content Creator plays a key role in shaping Iolite Krypt’s brand storytelling and digital presence. This role goes beyond producing videos to include creative ideation, narrative development, and content strategy input in partnership with the Social Media Manager.

The Video & Content Creator is responsible for conceptualizing and executing engaging visual content that communicates value, educates, entertains, and drives audience engagement across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X (Twitter). This position requires creativity, strong storytelling skills, and technical proficiency to ensure all content aligns with the agency’s brand, campaign goals, and audience expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Ideation & Storytelling

• Propose original content ideas, video concepts, and storytelling formats to enhance brand engagement.
  
• Participate in weekly content planning sessions with the Social Media Manager to shape campaigns and recurring series.
  
• Suggest hooks, narrative structures, and visual concepts that make content memorable and shareable.
  
• Translate web design projects, services, and agency expertise into audience-friendly stories.
  
• Identify trends, platform-specific opportunities, and engagement strategies to optimize content performance.
  

Content Production & Video Execution

• Script, film, and edit high-quality video content including reels, tutorials, case studies, product showcases, and educational materials.
  
• Apply editing, pacing, sound design, and visual storytelling techniques to maximize audience retention.
  
• Ensure videos are optimized for platform specifications, mobile-first viewing, and engagement metrics.
  
• Repurpose video content for multiple formats and platforms to extend reach and impact.
  
• Maintain a well-organized library of raw and edited content for easy access and reuse.
  

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure all creative output aligns with campaign goals, content calendars, and brand messaging.
  
• Collaborate with Graphic Designers and Motion Graphic Designers to enhance video content with visual effects, animation, and motion design.
  
• Coordinate with the Project Management and Marketing teams for workflow efficiency and timely delivery.
  
• Provide regular updates to the CEO and Head of Operations & Client Relations on content progress and creative performance.
  

Content Optimization & Performance Awareness

• Track engagement metrics such as reach, views, click-through rate, watch time, and audience retention.
  
• Analyze performance data and apply insights to improve future content quality and effectiveness.
  
• Experiment with new video formats, hooks, and storytelling approaches to increase engagement and lead generation.
  
• Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and creative best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all content adheres to copyright laws, licensing agreements, and platform guidelines.
  
• Review and refine content for consistency, quality, and alignment with Iolite Krypt’s brand standards.
  
• Uphold confidentiality, creative integrity, and professionalism across all creative outputs.
  

Required Skills & Tools

• Proven experience as a Video & Content Creator, Videographer, Multimedia Designer, or similar creative role.
  
• Strong storytelling, scripting, and narrative development skills.
  
• Proficiency in video production and editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  
• Understanding of visual composition, pacing, lighting, and sound design principles.
  
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content optimization for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  
• Ability to generate creative ideas independently and contribute to campaign planning.
  
• Excellent communication, creativity, and time management skills.
  
• Knowledge of marketing concepts and digital content strategy is a plus.
