Position: Product Designer

Salary:  ₦150,000 –  ₦600,000 (based on 15% – 20% of project fee)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing, responsive websites and graphics for new products, and projects, and addressing client inquiries with a high standard of professionalism and creativity. This role demands proficiency in modern design tools like Figma and Adobe XD, along with the ability to deliver user-centric, responsive designs that align with our client’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website and Product Design: Design and develop modern, user-friendly interfaces for websites dedicated to new products and projects. Ensure that designs are responsive, engaging, and meet industry best practices.

• Graphics Creation: Create high-quality graphics to support marketing campaigns, client branding, and other initiatives. These may include custom illustrations, logos, icons, and other visual assets.

• User Experience and Interface Design (UX/UI): Develop seamless, visually appealing user experiences optimized for all devices, focusing on enhancing user satisfaction and ease of navigation.

• Client Communication: Respond to website design inquiries and requests, providing clear, professional, and timely responses. Work with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective design solutions.

• Collaborative Projects: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and marketing, to align on project goals and timelines, ensuring cohesive and consistent designs.

• Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on all design elements before project delivery to ensure they meet the company’s standards and client expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or in a similar role, ideally within a web development or digital product environment.

• Proficiency in Design Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD is essential. Familiarity with other design software, such as Sketch, InVision, or Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.

• Responsive Design: Proven experience designing responsive interfaces optimized for various devices, including mobile, tablet, and desktop.

• Strong Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating past projects with a focus on modern, high-quality UX/UI design, web projects, and branding.

• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of web design standards, front-end design principles, and accessibility guidelines.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be a collaborative team player willing to engage in constructive feedback and brainstorming sessions.
